OK ya got me.  This one isn’t lettered either.  What can I say – COMICON was a big distraction.  But I still think it’s intelligible.  No doubt I will get around to sending pages to the letterer.  In the meantime enjoy trying your own dialogue – some people had fun with that. By all means…

    Something seems Awkward about Rock Jumper’s face in the first picture… Perhaps something to do with his eye? He looks very flat, and sort of light a fish… It could also be that the forehead’s too far forward, his hair’s too high, or a combination of the shadowing + scar is confusing me. But it just doesn’t look right…

    kyn its cuz its the way his face is and the fact the shadows a noon day shadow making it look flat. you are expecting one side to be shadowed or more in shadow cuz of his cheekbones that normally are defined in adults are not as defined in a kid hi face is flat so no shadow exists so therefore it LOOKS flat from the point of view.

    Honesty i don’t think it needs words everything that needs to be said is being said by the experssion on the charcter i love it the way it is its subtle and hit you in the face with the emotion thanks great comic

    SniperKitty, the key to art is not to draw things as they are, but rather to draw them so that they convey their message clearly to the outside ;) and all I can think of when I see his face in that first panel is one of those flat fish…

    Unfortunately it’s very hard to ever put your thumb on why something looks a certain way. Maybe it does because his eye appears almost frontal? or perhaps because of his hair or lips or forehead- all I can say is:

    Fishy fishy fishy!

    Note that these are the words of a loving critic, not a hater :P Damn this comic is awesome.

    love the comic, but i agree that this page dosn’t need any lettering, its stong, and in that situation what would anybody have to say?

    also he looks like a fish cause of his eye, it seems too far back to the side of his face for that angle, but thats just how it seems to me.

    Just missing ongoing story…

    Maybe it’s my fault, but there isn’t any new page shown up for 3 months. A little note from the creator about relocation, during of that hiatus or complete discontinuation of the story would be pleasant.

    I have to agree with Hanno. Is the story going to continue or do I check here every day for nothing? Love the art and the storyline, just want some updates or some excuse as to why I’m not getting it. :)
