OK so I’ve been a bit lazy. Pages need to be sent to the excellent letterer (Comicraft). But I looked at the page and I think it’s intelligible as is, though that’s not to suggest it won’t be lettered eventually.

This is cool. I should post all the pages unlettered first to give everyone a chance to write their own dialogue.

“You’ll regret those words when I develop feelings for your rival.”
Damn these words. They are all I can put for that panel now. I can’t see anything else there.

Well there’s always the tried and tested method of:
“woah hey where in sky shadow are you doing? You stay back and finish cleaning, and you damn well better make a me a sandwih when I get back”
“I ain’t your b****”

Gah, I meant “going” not “doing”….. There goes the edge of my blade of humor”

Hahaha, nice job so far. This is defiantly turning into one of my favorite web comics. Keep up the good work!

The first thing that REALLY caught me to this, and quite immediately, was the tipped over oil refinery just laying around while they hunted; the art is very good, and the setting is both fantastic and, through small bits like the oil refinery and the immortal, set in an alternate reality. I’m liking it so far; keep it up!

I actually like the page the way it is. Everyhting is clear even without letters, which by the way speaks for your visual storytelling. Somehow, I htink letters would take away some of hte tension in the panels.

I have a feeling that tire-arms there is going to have severe problems for his succession. After all, if she goes out and dies, that’s the tribe in a spot of trouble since she’s, what, one of maybe three girls we know of so far?
Wonderful to see the values of today in the generations of next Wednesday.

A very nice comic and one of my favourites…
But the site navigation is a pita.
The home page loads all of the last 40 strips and an image for every one… and there is no link to a single page with only the latest comic.
How should i bookmark the latest comic?
Until last week there was an box with the latest 6 (?) comics in the upper right corner, but it disappeared
Please, please! add this box again!

2nd to last panel:
“You don’t have the armor to come with us. Go home.”
Last panel:
“I’m a girl, less clothing IS more armor. We only have to armor things that don’t need it. Gloves, thigh high boots, extra belts, etc. I could go topless and not get hit all fight you know!”
By Laura on Aug 3, 2009 | Reply
Haha, that’s perfect, Banlish.

Sorry. Just posted page 38 unlettered. I gotta finalize the script and send to the letterer and Comicon was a big distraction.

Thanks for the kind words. As far as navigation goes, there are multiple ways of finding the TRIBES homepage – you can click on TRIBES: MAIN PAGE on the upper menu; click on the TRIBES logo in the right column; goto the right category in the category menu. No question I would like to improve the overall navigation and my ability to advertise new and supplementary content without interfering with the page flow on the main blogroll – that is a problem. It is a work in progress, so I beg our indulgence. Thx for reading.
