TRIBES – cover image – option B

Option B for the Diamond Distributors catalog.  The entry needs to impress.  In this version the idea was to spotlight the center foreground – Fallingstar and Sundog, with the title.  I thought option A, though splendidly vivid, did not direct the eye enough through the image. Foreground and background competed for attention.  Here in option B, the foreground is clearly delineated, and the eye knows what to focus on first.  All that said, it’s still a toss-up.  Comments welcome.
